Q.  What type of toilets or showers do I need for my event?

The type of toilets will depend mainly on your budget, also how many guests and how long you need them for. Give our team a call or drop us an email office@hallmarkeventhire.co.uk and we will chat through your individual requirements.

Q.  What will I need to provide for my unit?

For all our deliveries we will need good clear access, if your delivery arrives via our hiab lorry then we will discuss space requirements with you on booking. Where possible we require firm level ground.

Some toilets are totally self-contained so don’t require any power or water, just a spacious area to allow for our vehicles and trailers to maneuver.

Ideally, we like to position on gravel, tarmac, hard standing or concrete, we can of course position on grass but if it’s too wet then we don’t want to cause any damage when we are positioning. It’s always worth having another option to site in case of bad weather etc., as we cannot be liable for any accidental damage caused to site.

Other units will require a power supply, this will be always required and needs to be a 240v/13amp/2.5kva this can be mains or supplied by a generator.

Shower trailers will require a constant clean water supply, a power supply (as above) and either a septic tank or mains sewage for grey wastewater, our showers use LPG boilers to heat the water.

Q.  Booking & Payment

Once you have decided on the units you require you will be issued with a hire contract, this needs to be signed and returned along with your 25% deposit, we can then confirm the booking.

We will then issue you an invoice for the remaining balance which will be due 2 weeks prior to delivery.

Payments can be made via bank transfer or over the telephone using a debit or credit card.

Our Cancellation Policy: Hire cancelled over 61 days prior to the event – 25% + vat of total cost, between 31-60 days - 50% + vat of hire charge, within 30 days of event – 100% + vat of the hire charge.

Q.  Delivery & Collection

We will normally contact you a week prior to your event to discuss your delivery details, for most weekend events we will deliver on Thursday or Friday and collection will be on Monday or Tuesday. Out-of-hour deliveries can be arranged so please request a quotation for this when making an inquiry.

Q.  Liability & Insurance

You are responsible for insuring all the equipment whilst on hire, the total value of your hired equipment will be supplied to you on your hire contract.

We ask that no signage or stickers to be placed internally or externally on any units during hire, charges will be incurred for removal or repairs, we also ask that units are returned in an acceptable state otherwise a cleaning fee will be issued.
