| What kind of facilities do the washrooms have? |
The Hallmark Event Hire range of toilets includes models and
types to suit most events and functions and these notes are intended as a guide
to help with selection.
1) Basic types
Mains – this refers to the waste disposal method of these toilets which
discharge through a standard 4” waste pipe into a mains sewer or septic tank.
These toilets are usually sited over or adjacent to the manhole. Pipe can be run
along level ground up to 12 feet from the toilet. Suitable for sites with close
proximity to mains sewer or septic tanks.
Toilets in this range include 19’ 3+2. ( The 3+2 designation indicates 3 female
WC and 2 male WC)
Recirc – these type of toilets retain the effluent in a tank containing a blue
sanitizing fluid which is recirculated by either being pumped into the cistern
by an electric pump or manually pumped into the WC bowl . This type of toilet
requires emptying or “gullying” during hire, dependant on level of use, and
before collection. Suitable for sites without mains sewer.
Toilets in this range include 20’ 3+1 Luxury mobile, 22’ 3+2 Luxury Jackleg, 14’
3+2 mobile, 12’ Jackleg 6 bay unisex, 16’ Jackleg 4 bay plus urinal and 8’
single person luxury disabled.
Mains/Recirc – these toilets can be configured before delivery to be either
mains or recirc.
Toilets in this range include 20’ 3+1 Luxury, 22’ Jackleg Luxury and the 8’
Single Disabled Person toilet.
2) Facilities
Hand wash – all toilets have handwash facilities and should be connected to the
mains water. If mains water is not available then storage tanks are fitted into
some units which hold a limited supply which need to be topped up during use,
either using a mains hose or bowser truck. (not included)
Units with storage tanks include: 14’ 3+2, 12’ x 9’ Jackleg 6 bay unisex and 16’
Jackleg 4 bay plus urinal, 20’ 3+1 Luxury, 22’ Jackleg Luxury and the 8’ Single
Disabled Person toilet.
The 19’ 3+2 Mains toilet must have a mains water supply for flushing.
Lighting/Hot Water – All toilets have the ability to be connected to an
electrical supply which will provide hot water, lighting and, in certain models,
heating. It is preferable to connect to power although the 12’ and 16’ Jackleg
units, the 19’ 3+2 mains and the 8’ Single disabled persons will work without.
In the event of not being connected to mains power hand wash water will be cold
and no lighting will be available.
Consumables – All toilets come initially stocked with consumables which include
soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Additional requisites available on a sale
or return basis. Unless requested otherwise the hirer is responsible for further
consumables. |
